Wonder #47...........Why Do Leaves Change Color in Autumn?

We will begin our Fall PBL this week by asking this question......please continue to check the blog for updates as we continue our wondering!

Don't forget to read every night and check the newsletter for upcoming events and sight words.

Last week we were visited by a few awesome Community Helpers to learn how they keep us safe.

Officer Howland answered our questions and taught us how to use the handcuffs (a burning question of 5yr olds)!
We even got to tour the police car!!

We met a few firefighters and they taught us all about their uniform and equipment!

And of course the fire truck!!!

We then met Mr. Ray, a Construcction Worker.  He taught us about how to build houses and using blue prints!

We also met an Air Force Pilot!  Mr. Ben answered our questions about the importance of his job and how he keeps us safe.
